Butterfly Valve

Butterfly Valve

A butterfly valve is a quarter-turn valve that is used to control and regulate the flow of fluids in a pipeline. It derives its name from the wing-like disc attached or fitted with the stem within the valve body, which is designed to rotate 90 degrees within the pipeline to either fully open, partially open, or fully close the valve. Due to their compact size, simple design, low cost, and ease of operation, butterfly valves are widely used in a wide variety of industries.
