Central Air Conditioning Plant
A central ac plant (air conditioning plant) is a system designed to cool and dehumidify air in a large building or a group of buildings from a central location. This type of system usually consists of a large chiller unit responsible for cooling water or a refrigerant and a network of air ducts and vents that distribute cool air throughout the building.
The chilled water or refrigerant is typically circulated through the building via a series of pipes or ducts, which cools the air and removes moisture. The air is then distributed back into the rooms through vents, providing a comfortable indoor environment. Central ac plants are commonly used in commercial buildings, hospitals, and large residential complexes where individual ac units are not practical or efficient.
