Thermal Power Plant
Thermal power plant is a coal-fired power plant that converts heat energy generated by the combustion of coal into electrical energy. It consists of a boiler, a turbine, a generator, and several other auxiliary equipment. Its primary purpose is to harness the heat energy generated during fuel combustion to generate high-pressure steam, which is then used to spin a turbine and generate electricity.
Thermal power plants are widely used all over the world as they provide a dependable and relatively inexpensive source of electricity. It plays a critical role in meeting the world's growing energy demands.
