Windmill Turbine
The windmill turbine is a specially designed device that aids in the conversion of the kinetic energy of wind into mechanical energy that is later converted to generate electricity. Wind turbines typically consist of tower blades, a rotor, a generator, and other components such as a gearbox and a control system.
As the wind blows, it causes the rotor to rotate and finally spin the generator to produce electric power that can be used for numerous applications that include powering businesses and homes supplying electric power to the grid, and powering remote locations such as off-grid communities or offshore oil rigs. The wind is a type of renewable energy technology that has become increasingly popular to produce clean and sustainable electricity.
